Constructed between 2010 and 2011, the three-field sports hall at Johannes Gutenberg High School can be subcategorized into three facilities. Each facility has its own equipment storage room and a separate teacher’s locker room. Equipment meant for outdoor use is stored in its own room.
A mobile set of bleachers can be rolled out or stored as needed. The hall is well-lit by overhead units. It is not intended for competitive sports. Aside from these facilities, Johannes Gutenberg high school has access to a runner’s track and a soccer field, both of which are open after normal school hours.
The facilities are in use by the following groups and associations, in addition to their regular use by the school:
